    New Reading

OK, so I'm a retired and somewhat lazy arsed senior, especially in the winter. I know, I know, all the time in the world but these dark wet Vancouver winters are a killer. No sunshine, grey skies, snow once in awhile. "Where the hell is that old bugger going with this thread?" you ask. I'm like the Maple trees in front of my home. Time to once again turn over a new leaf.

I'm reading a new book Jimbo recommended. "Younger Next Year* Live Strong, Fit, and Sexy-- Until You're 80 and Beyond". No, I'm not soliciting advice or testimonials, I'm just sharing. Cheers.

I'm not even going to tell you to quite smoking and cut back or quit drinking. Give up pie, Guiness, Single Malt, chips, etc. I'm not going to tell you to get off the couch, go for a walk or the like. Your family doctor is telling some of you that.

I'm 67 in a couple of weeks and I want to have another riding season. I'm telling myself, as I did last year. I've set April as the start of riding season. I'll keep ya all posted.
