I think that these sounds arerelated to the shift in the Earths magnetc poles that is taking place (and affecting the weather). The sound is similar to the sound I once heard when the Northern Lights were really close to the ground in Northern Alberta. It was much quieter, but the same sound really. I just think it is Awesome that we are hearing something that has never been recorded in history. On the other hand - it could be a cloaked KLingon Bird of Prey LOLK!!!

I believe you may be in error, Bach. A Klingon BoP is silent, only detectable by it's gaseous emissions (and not unlike myself), it's the Romulan Warbird that is prone to sonic disturbances while cloaked (again, not unlike myself) and could be the reason for the unidentified noises.

So you are saying that you stink and get on people nerves without them fully understanding why...

    The truth is out there.

No need to bring beer. We have Hacker Pschorr and Guiness available on tap and in the stores. We also have some great micro brews here as well. I can take you to you a few if you get down this way. Oh don't tell anyone but we also have maple syrup here too. You can bring all you want if it makes you happy.

Interesting Grutok - I'd just like to hear them in my local town. I think it would be awesome. There have been several stories that have the same theory I do about it being a magnetic phenomenom. As Spock would say : "Fascinating".

Very interesting explanations can be found online. Accoustic-gravity phenomenon is a term being thrown about.

    Re: Weird Thread Here

Yea, I've heard this. Last June in North Mississippi with my family while visiting relatives. It sounded like the example from the Czech Republic. Low frequency (60 to 80 hertz), very loud and hard to localize. It sounded like it came from everywhere with no echo at the end. Didn't like it. Rather not hear it again. Pretty sure everybody else who was there feels the same way.
