So all of my riding buddies have nick named me the "cruise director" because every time we get together for a ride no one knows where to go so they all look at me to provide an interesting destination. So this past weekend I thought we would go for some ice cream never telling them where we were going just that we were going for. Once we hit the Vermont border and stopped for gas they really want to know where this ice cream stand is. So I told them Waterbury and that we are about 1/2 the way there. So one of them who knows thier ice cream asked "isn't that where Ben & Jerry's is located"? When I said "why yes it is" I heard a collective groan. I guess they won't be asking me to lead the next ride if I get invited.

They groaned because they knew it would be Ben & Jerry's .... not the ride !
I had the ill fortune of have a B&J Chocolate when I was in Seattle in '06 and must admit it had a lot to be desired for a chocolate ice cream !
No one makes better chocolate that Australia's Cadbury

Stinger, a couple of Saturday's ago 4 of us met at the ferry here in Long Island, took it to Bridgeport, rode to Windsor and met up with about 15 other guys, then rode to Great Barrington, MA for lunch. A great ride was had by all! There were some pretty good roads up there.
