This Sunday Grand Bend has they're biggest payout race and they are throwing in the Canada's Fastest Streetbike shootout which was rained out twice this year.It will unfortunately be cars and bikes but you can't have everything.Hopefully the weather holds out this time.I'll be racing the 'Bird going against whatever is there.

I'm out to beat my 9.93
If anyone, and I know there is,in the sw Ontario area, the shootout bikes alone are worth the price of admission.

No doubt. It's bad enough up here some days,we always get high humidity with high heat, kinda like what Florida has every day.But in Canada we complain about it and it Florida it's just another nice day.

It was cool in the morning, perfect in the afternoon.Went 9.97 lousy 60ft 1.71 best mph ever 144.25.
Matt Dunigan went 7.46 at 197 or something.
Geoff Pollard fired up the new top fuel bike and promptly broke a belt at the line.
I had air shifter problems going for 4th gear and lost mph in the 2nd round,oh well maybe this weekend.

Well racing is done, ran a 9.92 at 141.9 last event.Sorry for the delay, had computer issues last 10 days.My first 2 passes were great 9.93 and 9.92 with 1.64 and 1.65 60 ft times, then first round I go 1.71 and drop to 136(much like the previous week, hmmm) and run 10.08.Put it on the trailer and called it a year.
It's a long way to spring time.
Interesting thing happened tho',raced a 165 hp busa,6" stretch ,lowered, air shifter,200lb or more rider, I usually had 1 mph on him.His 60 ft were usually 1.55 and he'd run 9.7s.He'd have 2/10th's on me at 330' and it would just stay that way.15 more hp eaten up by his extra weight. He used to run 10 flat with stock wheelbase.
So now I'm looking for the best deal on lengthening that extra swingarm I have.

Thanks for the well wishes,I blew it early in both events.
Pollard made a full pass on the new top fuel bike and ran a 6.17,I think that was his first full pass at the AMA Dragbike race the other week.Looks like top fuel is going to be a 3 way battle now.
Korry Hogan hit 250 mph and ran another 5.
Lots of high mph runs in Prostreet.saw 206. on one.
