So the rumors are true, huh? He never seemed comfortable on the Honda as it was built to suit his teammate Pedrosa. With Ducati he will now be on a competitive bike.

All that I can say is good luck to Nicky! I am relieved that he may be riding for a group that will support him. I saw him at Laguna Seca and he was not very happy. His bike would stay with the leaders until the tires started going away which affected him in many ways. So people never give anyone credit when it is due, he won the championship during a season when Honda stopped him needed equipment midway thru the season. HAYDEN MADE THE SWITCH AND UNLESS HONDA COMES UP WITH A UPDATED BLACKBIRD/EQUIVALENT TO REPLACE MY WELL RIDDEN 2002 XX I WILL ALSO BE LOOKING FOR ACROSS THE FENCE!

Only Australians can race a ducati competetively. (Stoner, Bayliss) Hayden doesn't have a hope.

If it is true, he'll have no excuses to dawdle at the back of the pack now !
I have always been a fan of NH but have always felt he would rather play the celeb side than being hungry for another championship !

It is way to soon to know but the switch may bring back the old (relatively speaking) Nicky. He looked happy at Indy smoking the rear tire and having a good time.

The boy was hungry enough onboard a Honda in the AMA... with his consistency winning over Rossi's skill (and speed bump in Valencia) in the 2006 championship.
It was the chassis and a combination of feeling a little alienated by "the one"-Pedrosa coming into the HRC camp. Love Pedrosa... but it's always going to be a little tough with 2 roosters in the hen house.
He'll do fine on a Ducati. Let's give NH a round of applause for doing his thing with Honda, and always keeping a grin on his face.
Love Rossi... love all the guys out there on 2 wheels.

Oh yeah... can anyone direct me to a site where some really good pics of a Honda Superblackbird 1100xx - custom painted "with-me" racing colours?? There is a tamiya box model that is on the market, but I'm looking for some good photos online, to help with showing exactly how the paint looked. As well, where did this "with-me" racing colours (2-toned blue camouflage with shark-teeth) ever show in the world at all? Was it a one-off design, was it used in world superbike?? ... where was the "with-me" racing custom paint-job ever come from and where was it used(other than for sponsorship of course)
