Added "SPOILER" to thread title so the race can be discussed more freely.
Was really hoping for a win by Nicky Hayden but it seems the pneumatic valve engine doesn't have the horsepower that the Ducati and Yamaha have.
There have been rumors also that he might sign with Ducati for next seaon.
Rossi is simply "Mr. Consistency" lap after lap, not phased by his competitors' overtaking attempts.
How about the efforts of Ben Spies and Jamie Hacking in their wildcard rides?

Cant wait until Phillip Island in October. I am in the Yamaha Tent for the three days and staying on the Island with a few mates. Riding down and back on the bird is a bonus. Rossi, Lorenzo and the other satellite riders will come into the tent for photos and autographs so I am told. If I get some pics I will post them here. I have been in the Honda tent twice now and been ripped of both times. Its a joke. NO riders come in and the free gear was crappy HRCA jacket that didnt fit even though I supplied a size before going. We'll see how Yamaha compares.

SPOILER ALERT DONT READ BELOW IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE RACE
Since we are now talking about the race I can only comment on the last 15 minutes of coverage. That's all I saw. I didn't know the race was on. That last 15 minutes was some fun stuff to watch. Rossi and Stoner were really dicing it up. When Stoner went into the litter it was disappointing. It would have been cool to see them dice it out to the end.
I also saw a reply of one nasty looking get off. I think that they said it was Rossi's mate but wasn't sure if I got that correctly. Dude went flying. I think that said that he would be back racing in a couple of weeks.

Great race. What a High-side ( Lorenzo )to start things off. Then the battle up front, Wow.
Was a bit annoyed at Stoners remarks about Some of the passes by Rossi. As far as I'm concerned he did nothing wrong. Just fearless manouvers.
More of the same please.

Just wish Stoner could have stayed upright for the whole race. Should make things " interesting " for the remaining rounds.
