Did my ACU assessment today so I have the 3 requisite stamps to get my licence.

Also on the course was a young man called Rob Frost who may be familiar to some as a bike tester for Fast bikes back in the late 90's early 00's and who did a video with a certain young Mr Byrnes taking a BB down through France.

He's been away from road racing for 8 years following ahead injury and is getting started again

wow that is a 'blast from the past'.

So now you can get your license, have you looked at the rule book to see if you can race with panniers to keep all the whippersnappers at distance?

Nice chap and found ity quite amusing (so did the instructor) that he had to do the Racers equvalent of CBT .

Luggage, unfortunately it does have to come off as per section 16.1 para 15

Licence holders, club badges (except transfers), centre and prop stands, luggage carriers,
mirrors and rear registration plate (but NOT tail light) must be removed. Indicators may be
retained at the discretion of the rider but, if retained, the glasses must be taped.

Here's a picture of the spring. Cant PM it. If its any good to you, its yours. Havent had time to google the Ohlins nos but im sure the previous owner said it was for someone heavier than me (80kg). Its supposedly unused.

much appreciated Ade, will contact Teut and find out what rate it is and if it's not suitable for me then at least you will know what the spring rate /weight it is suitable for
