I think Motogp should let em loose, faster is better, get Bill gates, Coke, Camel to sponsor the bikes, have a Budwieser series like Nascar, get more fans to the races and more $ to the series.

Isle of man TT, screaming thru town at 170mph in the dry or rain, great climate changes, crossing lorrie stripes at speed, fans sitting on edge of track so close they get chain grease slung on them having a cold pint. truly the most dangerous race in the world... I plan to be there someday. Cold beer and 200mph bikes screaming by. Can't get TT coverage here so it is the first dvd i buy when they come out.

WSB, almost stock superbikes riding the best tracks in the world, Phillips island, brands hatch.

we never see much of the isle of man over here although i wish we did those blokes are nuts +some , i do like the GP but it's very money and team orientated alot of times much like formula one , i like superbikes for the reason that they are almost stock the rider shines and bike sales go up because of it , saying your going to buy a honda because racer X rides one in the moto GP is crazy.

my votes the isle , just wish we seen more of it here in AUS

Went to the Bathurst Bike races before it went to PI,
5 times, never seen any races, It was meet up from all over OZ for all the bike groups and one big piss up, Get to meet all my mates there,

IOM is, hands down, the most exciting scooter race ever devised. Some moments have had my hangers in my throat just watching the action. Not to detract from the WSB or MotoGP, but it's like comparing two very different animals. I would love to see it in person before it gets cancelled.

Yeah, I agree with the dreaded pirate that the IOM cannot be compared to the 2 others. Of the 2, I like WSBK because you get to watch 2 races rather than the 1 MotoGP offers.

Are you referring to actual riding or what you might see on TV? For riding it has to be Isle of Man TT; doing what they do in WSB and MOTOGP but on public roads is just mental, and many riders wouldn't do it just because it is so dangerous.

Otherwise, I don't think there's much to choose between MOTOGP and WSB; the riders are very similar in ability, often changing between the two disciplines, though moving from WSB to MOTOGP is considered to be moving up, unless you're getting on machinery which is reasonably competitive, it's probably a step down in real terms. James toseland springs immediately to mind. Riders going the other way seem to make the transition much better Biaggi et al and, this season particularly, Melandri, who always should have been on a better bike in MOTOGP. He's a real contender in WSB this year.

Coverage here of the TT is almost nothing, but MOTOGP gets good cover on ESPN and, more recently, there's been more of the WSB also, so I'll have a chance to follow it more closely.

Only problem is that I can't stand the wankers who commentate. The only qualifications the bloke who commentates on WSB appears to have is an ability to shout load about nothing and ask the most irritatingly stupid questions, and the idiot on MOTOGP isn't much better.

Don't discount the 125s (250s next season), and MOTO2, which, for my money, is excellent racing.

hunt around on fleabay or Amazon for some DVD's with onboard cam shots..................jeez scare you witless, 200 bhp average speed over 130 mph between houses mental must get there one year

MOTO Gp is good just got too exspensive and grids too small, love WSB & BSB grids full of lunatics and at lots of UK circuits you can can mingle with the riders

IoM for me as well if we are limited to those 3 ...................... but what about true Irish road racing? As fast and technical as the IoM but with mass starts

I love them all too, for sheer out and out craziness it's got to be the IOM TT, the moto 2 is always pretty exciting, and of course the Moto GP are going to 1000cc next season so other than huge budget differences between them and superbikes what will be the difference? the 125's are going to 250 4 stroke singles.
There just isn't enough TV coverage of any of them, even if you subscribe to a sports channel (Sky over here). We have four dedicated sport channels and last night two were showing golf and the other two rugby!(we are not all rugby fans down here in the antipodes!!)
The latest WSB round got a 25 minute highlights show three days after the race.

No, I understand some of you also like Cricket, and the rest are Soccer (sorry, "Football") fans. You're right about the poor TV coverage though, it's almost impossible to find most of the races on my provider's feed.

IOM TT wins hands down...some of the best racing in the world...

TT for sure. Like drugrepp said the 500cc MotoGP certainly was a trip to watch, to bad I wasn't there to see them. SBK is also cool to watch. So, how much would it cost me to ship my bike and me (from New York) to the Isle of Man, ride the course at normal speeds for two days and come back?

I am in with the group the IOM is in a class by itself. I voted WSB overall but the best racing last year was Moto2. Who knows for this year.
