2006 Two tone Silver, Is what Honda call it, But some people who have the same coloured bike call it Iron Nail Grey, 2007
They are identical when sitting side by side.
    Cheers.

Your talking about a completly different system to the one I am talking about,
Thats why they wont use the system your on about, Its too bulky, inneffeicent and its just a crap sytem all round, Sorry, But thats the way it is Mate.
Thats another of the Furfhys they put out to try to eliminate the one I am talking about.
Research the one I am talking about, you will be enlightened.

u can test this idea your self

    take 1 hand drill
find a large toy motor and stick the shaft in the end

when u A short the motor terminals(maximum work)
or B immerse the motor leads in water (smaller load)

u will find the drill slows down

downside of onboard generation using your alternator is that the alternator becomes harder to turn & tries to slow the engine down

as nothing is 100% efficient more energy is taken from your engine than is given back to it

unfortunately you will only see a 5% improvement in mpg as there are big losses at every stage even with a perfect set up

clutching in a lightweight high rpm flywheel is just as efficient

that flywheel is clutched back in when u want to accelerate

    and simpler to implement
    --------------------------------------------------------

if u fancy having having a go at doing the hydrogen thing for kicks ill walk u thru the steps...its realy not that hard and will prolly cost less than 100bucks if you are an A class bodger like me - lol

Induction braking could be used to generate gas on board...pick up a small dc electric motor short the ends...now try turning the shaft...the motor has now become a generator and is working against itself...thats induction breaking

now take the leads from the motor and stick them in a glass of water (attach a drill to the motor shaft to simulate it being turned) and tiny gas bubbles will rise from the water

The only onboard system that could work is where an electrical generator was attached to the drive shaft and engaged when you the vehicle was being slowed down

    Q about pressure tanks

doing some work on the hydrogen economy, need to compress hydrogen in a tank for to use as fuel in cars & motorcycles

(im aware of hydrogen embrittlement which effects some materials)

    my Q for you

ideally tanks would not be cylindrical or spherical as this makes them hard to fit where space is limited and shape available awkward odd volumes

i can see no good reason why internal struts bridging opposite walls of the container could not be used to stop the container bowing outwards
