Hello CBRXX people. Let Me start by saying I love the web site so many people that feel the same way about the best bike ever made. I'v been reading threads on here for two years or so and just now started a profile.
I have had two XX's both 97 bought one in 99 put 54,000 miles on it sold it then got another BB 97 with 11,900 miles ran it up to 79,800 and would have been alot more but it was hit by a car while parked anyway now I have a baby blackbird or a one X lol VFR800FI I picked it up a few months ago with very low mileage around 5500 now it has 9100. It is a very well balanced bike and rides smooth for a small bike but It's no BBxx. Would love to trade someone for another low mileage BBxx that I could put another 50,000 miles on.(I know good luck with that) PS if you need some miles put on your BB just let Me know |

G'Day XXEric from Down Under. VFR's are a true legend of a MC. I'm trying to persuade my girlfriend to trade in her V Star on one so she can at least have a bit more fun with me. ( out riding I mean )

Before I bought my Bird I tested a VFR and enjoyed it but I felt I would outgrow it so I passed. When I saw the Bird in the showroom

Same here....when i bought in 01, I looked long and hard at the interceptor, loved the fit and feel, but went with the extra grunt from the XX. Damn nice bike though.

Don't worry, a viffer is basically just a baby blackbird...
same basic feel, just not as much pull

Well I would consider trading mine off or selling it, but it needs body work. I just had the carbs rebuilt and jetted, new fuel petcock assembly newer pirelli Diablo Supersport rear tire. It has Yoshimura exhaust, intergrated LED Tail light, clear marker light lenses on mirrors. I also have NEW Shark Skins Upper Cowl, and Left and Right Fairings for it, and the tank and Tail are primered, Let me know if anyone is looking I would consider saying goodbye to it for now, I kinda want a newer one,as mine is a 97 with 13,400 miles. Just did an Oil Change at 12,500 miles. Let me know. chad_shockman@msn.com

Oh Yeah and Email if your interested will negotiate price or trade. It just needs some more TLC and the wife thinks I spend to much time and money on it, although all it needs now is a new front tire, and body parts put on it, wich I have..Read above post!
