| Used to be called ratty or the rat but a few years ago I moved from the UK to the Isle of Man and on the island it is unlucky to say the word rat, we use the word "Longtail" instead, hence longtail for my username. |

VLD (my initials) Virgil (my name). Not a very common name, and who would actually use the letters VD in a forum name? Well I sure do, lol!

My friends called me bigbird as when I used to wheelie past them they would get a sore neck looking up at the Bird as it is so high in the air, so that's the "big" and it's a bird so hence bigbird. Then they just got slack and called me Burdy for short.
The reason that I spell it Burdy rather than birdy is that I play World of Warcraft and the user name Birdy was taken. So therefore I am now known as Burdy.

Hi Para045,
Am living in Maylands. Yeh am a member of Perth street bikes forum.
Don't have a bike at the moment as a driver decided to pull out in front of me and now my bike is dead .
When I get another one (hope fully within a month) lets catch up for a ride and coffee.
Burdy.

No, my log in for psb is BigBird. I have been with those guys for a while, since the old Perth Extreme days, That was a while ago. It's been a while since I have posted with psb although I was at the filming on Saturday night of the short film with Deej, Klink and Dubs.
Do you have the same log on with psb?

With a handle like Blkburd, little explanation is needed. I thought about dirtybird since I live off a gravel road and the Blackbird gets dirty everytime I go to, or leave, home. Fixin to leave Thursday morning for EASToc 07 in the Blue Ridge Mountains (I have a ST1100 also, but I am riding the blackbird up there for this one).

My user name on this board is the main character in Daniel Keys Moran's novel The Long Run.
Even though my user name may not suggest it, if you want to catch up to me while I am riding my Blackbird you most likely can, since I don't make a habit of racing on the road (I don't feel that I have to prove anything; I already know that my BB is faster than most other bikes). And trying to evade mister policeman on your motorcycle is rather stupid, in my opinion.

I'm a survivor (sort of) of numerous ECT sessions - I was going to use "One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest" but that's a bit long......
