    G'Day from Tassie

Hi All, from Tasmania (Aus), After owning an ST13 and putting 90,000klm in 4 years i decided i wanted some more 'sport' in my riding/life. Bought a pretty much stock '03-SBB about 6 months ago. She's my daily ride, weekend tourer and occasional track bike. What a ride! Cuts through the wind like a blade, is so smooth (Honda), quiet and thats what i love. As stated, I also attend a few track days here in Tassie - and find the tracks a tad tight/small (2.4klm) and tight for the Bird. Pegs are a little low at times (oops).

Rest assured, I am very very happy. I may seek some advice from you knowledgable chaps on how to improve my pretty much 'stock' '03-SBB.

    Cheers, Sim

I have bought a new one as well. Waiting for the weather in Sydney to clear so that I can pick it up. It's a 2002 model with 26,000 Kim's on it !! Very excited

Welcome along from soggy Brisbane just up the road. Been to Tassie for annual holidays in '15 & '16 and absolutely love the joint. Will definitely have to ride down one day.

if you want her to turn in a little quicker on the track you might consider fitting a 6mm shim to the top mount of the rear shock.

    Fitting a 6mm shim

Either way, have fun with it.
    F#$% me, what just happened?

Welcome from Melbourne. Planning a trip down your way with the BBird in January 2018 ... last time I rode around Tassie was 1982 on a Suzuki 850G and I'm looking forward to the repeat experience!
