Hello fellow Blackbird Riders. My name is Paul and I am from Long Island, NY. This is the first time I have joined a forum of any kind so I have zero experience posting. Please forgive me in advance if I don't hit the right buttons and stuff. I am so glad to be a part of this group as it is very clean and safe for the family. There is no garbage being thrown around or postings of any repulsive material. Thank you for starting this site. My bird is of '99 vintage. It is entirely stock. Right now the only riding I do is commuting because life is very busy with raising a 3 year old son, marital duties, and house renovations. I've been riding for 28 years. My last bike was a '96 VFR which treated me great but I wanted something with more power. Boy, did I find it with the Blackbird. My adrenaline still flows everytime I ride it. I'm sure the same thing happens to you all, too. Anyway, it's great to be aboard. Happy riding to all.  | ||

Hey Paul, I used to live and work on Long Island. Lived in Middle Island (near Riverhead) and worked in East Meadow. I used to commute every day with my 74' CB750. Didn't have the pleasure of having the BB there but it would've made short work of traffic on the LIE! :-) Ride safe. Lots of whackos down on the Island. |
