    Do Cbr1000RR -7 fireblade forks fit a cbr1100 xx-2 blackbird?

    Hi everyone, im making my blackbird fit my needs, and i would like some flashy fireblade forks on it just so it looks better and handles better
    If anyone has any one has any other forks that will fit please tell me!

    Welcome. Read the threads on fork conversions. I think Busa and RC51s are the forks that swap over. Those and Ohlins, lol.Good Luck. Check The Duck, Gazza, CBBear, maybe Graham, to mention a few.

    Before considering a fork change because they look good, consider the practical side.

    Fork length - I expect the 1000RR forks will be too short.
    Springs - the RR is much lighter on the front end so will need to be changed.
    Damping - this will be tuned to the springs and weight transfer - again the RR is much lighter so will need to be changed for the Bird.

    It is for these reasons Busa, SP1 (not SP2 they are shorter) ZX12R and ZZR1400 forks have been used, they have the basics correct.

    That said a fork change is not a small job (swap out, swap in) and all require some engineeing input and a reasonable cash input - there are always 'extras'. The best thing to do is look at the various conversion threads and see what suits you best.
