    G'Day

    Hi all.
Just purchased a 2004 CBR1100XX. Blue in colour. Best ride I have been on. Also the biggest bike I have owned so I'm still taking it easy with the right hand twist at the moment. I might drop in from time to time for a read. Also new to forums so I hope I don't embarass myself.

Dont worry about embarrasing yourself, you either will or we will do it for you... but there is no avoiding it..

from up North, East and West!
UNDERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the front of the bike.
OVERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the rear.
HORSEPOWER is how fast you hit the wall.
TORQUE is how far you take the wall with you.

Welcome from the windy city. You bought a BLUE one... This might be your first embarrasing moment ... What you read is wrong. If you would have read this forum prior to purchasing you would have discovered that the BLACK birds are the fastest and in turn purchased a fast BLACK one. I'd take that blue one back and see if you can get yourself a TRUE BLACKbird. Geez you really need to research your purchases better.

    Welcome to the forum.
