    New member and new bike

    Hi all,Just bought an 02 blackbird. Took it out today on a test ride and pick it up tomorrow. It's done 27k miles. JAC exhausts, road legal allegedly!!! New continental motions on. Quite surprised at the riding position, I am trading a VFR800 (pre-vtec) in and thought it would be similar, but it is a much sportier position.Opening the throttle is more addictive than anything I have ever had. Plenty of power there! May wait a week or two before looking up the power commander threads :oNo questions at the moment but ret assured they will follow.Oh, colour you ask. The fastest colour obviously, blue!

    Thanks for the welcome and the abuse... I think I am going to enjoy this forum. Still waiting to go and collect it, might see what the headlights are like if it doesn't happen soon.Need to do some investigations tomorrow to see what cunning mods have been done from your lists.Is there anyone else in the Cambs area on here?Another question, see I told you they would come, why does it put all my sentences together? Is it an iPad thing?

    Blue (and silver for that matter) are cold colours. They can't be as fast as red, a hot colour.
    UNDERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the front of the bike.
    OVERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the rear.
    HORSEPOWER is how fast you hit the wall.
    TORQUE is how far you take the wall with you.

    Welcome from the windy city. Blue. Well it could be fast for a bluebird. BLACKbirds are BLACK. They are the fastest of the Birds. There can be only one and that one is the TRUE BLACKbird.
