Hey everybody, I'm new to the site and have enjoyed lurking and learning. Logged on today and got a prompt to post a post so here it is. I'm in the Houston area and looking for a FI 'bird. There are a couple on Cycletrader (rebuilt 99/02 and a 99 in Spring) but each are just a bit beyond my budget. Actually, I just started looking and have seen better deals on this site and cycletrader so I'm holding out for "the one." My goal is to get a 'bird so that I and the fiance' can take two-up week-end trips around the Texas/LA/OK/ARK area as well as being a daily commuter for me. I had originally considered a VFR as that was the last bike I had and loved it but.....I doubt if me and the honey would be in as much love after spending a weekend and 1000 miles on an Interceptor. I would like to have a bike that can handle the both of us with out gasping and groaning. Not ready for the Goldwing and the ST1100 doesn't compare. The ST1300 is nice but definitely beyond the budget. Besides, there is just something about the Blackbird that appeals to me. So....I'm patiently looking in TX, Louisiana, and OK/ARK for a Fuel Injected 'bird. ML | ||

|  I've got a buddy in McKinney. There are a few XX's floatin' around FL for sale.

Yeah, I've seen them. Florida is bit far in light of my work schedule. I'll probably end up having to do the whole fly and ride back thing either to Florida or California. Just seems that where all the bikes are, and a few in Ill or Minn. I'm hoping against hope that something will turn up closer to home. Fingers crossed and eyes closed tight..... ML |

| I'm in the Spring area. I scored mine in McKinney earlier this year. Look me up when you land the Bird. I'll keep my eyes open for you as well. You can check Craigslist as well.
