I was stationed in Germany in the 80's and loved this ride through (cant remember the order) Metz, Nancy, Lyon, Dijon all on the Eastern French border. French Alps! Awesome! Fantastic riding and about the only place I did not get hasseled by the cops.

Ben, coucou (hello, in English ;-) ).
Where are you from exactly? I'm from Grenoble, in the Apes that Dunedain seemed to appreciate!
Regards, cordialement.
Michel.

Welcome from the windy city. I've never been to France. Seen it on TV via the Tour. The Tour has to be one of the best advertising campaigns for tourism that a country could have. The organizers are doing a great job of ruining the race but it still showcases the country. What you get is beautiful countryside on the tube for 5-7 hours a day. Excellent. It does look like a great place to ride a bicycle or a motorcycle. Enjoy the site and don't worry about the english. Most of us on this site can't speak it or write it.
