| Hi everybody.
I'm bigmadstu as in ( big 6,2", a bit mad and stu ) :-) Picking up a black 96 BB on Saturday, 46000 miles, very clean, full stainless system. Mostly be using it for commuting, 25 miles to work along single lane A75. Bike is a must to keep sanity as it's a 40mph crawl in a car stuck in traffic. Computer engineer by trade and quite happy to do all my own servicing and fettling. Forums are a valuable source of info. I also do a bit of offroad with a KLX650 and hoon about on a 1050 Speed Triple. ![]() Stu | |

Cheers for all the welcomes guys. Just back from working away, got the bird home ok, was not running so well though, bogging at low revs and farting through the pipes. Had it on dyno since and it is rich up to 4500rpm then is ok and pulls well. 143 at back wheel and topped out at 177 on dyno. It's booked in to get the bottom end sorted out shortly, guy thinks needles are either set wrong ( if they have been swapped at some point )or are original and worn. Will get her sorted out and get some pics shortly. Stu |
