Don't know what the official name is for the latest (and fastest!) 2007 'Iron Nail' colour is, but the paint code is: NH167D

I need to know the EU 2003 matt black code...
Can anyone help please?
I'm respraying the bike and have an original 2003 tank, now need to spray the plastics to match it.

Talk to Bornagain and Peanutsarehairy...both are scotsmen, so I daresay you could get hold of the right code through them.

The genuine Honda come complete with the superblackbird, and the backing plate is a perfect paint match for the bike colour specified. The decal is a different colour for the year of manufacture. They are more expensive but worth the extra IMHO

Take one of the wheels to a paint shop.
Its piss easy for them to match it up.
The colour of the wheels is pretty easy to match up...

i don´t think there is an oem code for blackbird rims other than black.
just go for the golden colour that you like most.

You've seen pics of mine, haven't you, buddy? Silver was a stock colour in some places (like here), so it's possible they offered gold in some markets.

Anyone know if there is a paint code for the alternator cover for a 2003 Model (Darkenss Black Metallic). The cover is sort of a gold color on the 2003. I scraped it up and could fix it with a can of spray paint if I knew the color. Thanks for any ideas.

Anyone know the difference between "Code" and Color" on the Label? I assume for my 2003 Color NH463M is for the body panels and Code NH463B is for the wheels?

In Hondaland, the two numbers refer to the (1) dominant paint colour and the (2) overall design that the colour is used in. Not sure which is which in your case. The BB (mainly) uses solid colours and doesn't differ much in different markets or over the years, but with some bikes the second code is important because the pattern of stripes, decals, stickers etc changed between markets and from year to year. Ordering a replacement panel with the wrong code can be an expensive mistake!

Does anyone know if the US got the same stripe and decals on their 2003 Accurate Silver Metallic NH146M bikes as the UK. I'm trying to get a RHS lower cowl that has Silver with the darker grey stripe (the same as what's on the front section of the upper cowl) on it and the chrome effect 'CBR'.

Dangerdre, if I understand correctly, you're referring to the basic fairing / cowl itself and not the decals which say Super Blackbird... Etc. Will wait for someone else to confirm but my understanding is that the two-tone colour scheme with the raised 'CBR' decal was introduced only in 2005.

Hmm yeh I think you're right...I'd checked the US websites and it's a different part number listed for 2003 than what's listed on the European websites for 2005 and I think I read on here or somewhere that the US never got the two-toned paint scheme...

Take the paint code into Supercheap Auto, they should be able to mix the paint to the correct colour for you.I did that when I repainted the front guard on my BB.Mine is the same as yours.

Just to revive this thread, I have a 2000-model Blackbird, which has the silver/grey frame, and was wondering where I can find a paint code for it. I've purchased some of those frame bolt hole cover plugs, but they are in black...would like to paint them the same colour as the frame...

Hey guys, does anyone know what the colour of the 2000-model frames is (that silvery/gold-type colour the frames on these models is)? I actually asked Honda Australia, and they couldn't find a code...hence the question to the forum at large. Surely someone must know?
