tight I have just printed off the manual for my 97 and now I can add this quick step by step, something I was planning to do soon enough, I had the process down but nice to just have a quick reference

Thanks for pics and the info.Just did my coolant this way and it worked a treat. The only extra thing i did was when the old coolant finished draining i ran a fresh water hose into the top of the radiator to flush out the system.Once the clear fresh water finished draining i put it all back together as described. If you mix old coolant and new coolant it can turn acidic, which is not good,so a fresh water flush is advised.

has anybody ever heard of a product called engine ice? or used it...(engineice.com) it's suppose to keep the engine running cooler, supposedly of better heat shedding properties...

I just bought a bottle of Engine Ice today because a friend of mine who runs a shop in OC Ca says it is great stuff.
The coolant in my engine now looks like new but, is out of there tomorrow to be replaced by Engine Ice as part of my Bird's full service she is receiving from me now. I adjusted the valves today, not fun.
