1997 (CBR 1100XX-V)
The first Honda CBR 1100XX was introduced in late 1996 as a 1997 model. The original colors were Black, Titanium, and Red (depending on what part of the world you were in). USA Color: Black

1998 (CBR 1100XX-W)
The only change for 1998 was a update to the thermostat housing. Same colors available. USA Color: Black


1999 (CBR 1100XX-X)
1999 brought about the change to Honda's PGM-FI Fuel Injection system. Slight changes were also made to the tail light, air box, RAM Air ducts, oil cooler, and clutch. Blue was added. USA Color: Black

2000 (CBR 1100XX-Y)
No known changes. USA Color: Titanium


2001 (CBR 1100XX-1)
For 2001 the Blackbird was upgraded to a digital dash. Silver was added. USA Color: Red



2002 (CBR 1100XX-2)
No known changes. USA Color: Silver


2003 (CBR 1100XX-3)
No known changes. Last model of the 1100XX to be released in the USA. USA Color: Black


2004 (CBR 1100XX-4)
Black/Silver two-tone added.



2005 (CBR 1100XX-5)
Silver two-tone and Blue two-tone added.



2006 (CBR 1100XX-6)
No known changes.


2007 (CBR 1100XX-7)
Iron Nail two-tone added.
