Bike(s): looking to purchase black bird
Posts: 56
I am trying to decide which would be a sharp look plus most cost effective look for my bird. I am thinking of a little rob and big fad of painting everything black (murdered out) or just do the chrome thing. I am not sure how much swing arm powder coating cost and how much work it would be to disassemble the bird for the paint booth. I am Just looking for good ideas to make a classic 98 blackbird look like a 2008 jewel.

...well speaking of colour i would try to give that secret stealthy black look of the sr-71...that special mat black will give a musterious and suspicious look on the bird...just like it had left from a Lockheed/Martin Facility...

I gotta agree with Bullet... I saw one (in the parking area at an USAF air show no less) done completely in flat black with a smoked matte black double bubble screen - it was a stunner!

Flat black sounds good. Stock bird black sounds good too.
