cycle world 0-180 tests

The july cycle world 0-180 test had some suprising results. The busa and zx14 slower than the zx10??

That's not surprising at all !
The litre bikes weigh up to 50-60 kg less and produce comparable ponies.

I believe that I read that article. Is this the one where they were doing the speed runs on an airfield and then turned it into a comparision test? I guess you could say that they can do some amazing things with engines and weight.

Also, got to give credit where credit is do.....once again for , what... the 6th year running the GSXR1000 is best all round bike.


I wonder if honda hadn't stuck it's tail between it's little skinny legs and had kept in the R&D game, how a 2008 XX may have faired in the line up.

Yes I too take my hat off to Mr Suzuki. But saying that, It's in a different class than the Bird. The Bird was built for one purpose. To go long distances, and , get you there fast and in comfort.
