I want a new Tire Pressure Gauge for Christmas.

I want a nice durable one that is made of brass with a 8-10" hose and a 90 degree chuck.

But should I get an Analog or Digital gauge?

Best place to find one ?

I have the same gauge. I also bought a talking tire gauge from Riders Warehouse. It's great.

John motorcycle consumer news did an indepth comparison on tire guages a few months ago. It was a very good write up. They listed a talking tire guage(digital) from radio shack as the best buy. It was accurate, reliable, and easy to use. they said that the analogs were very good and the most accurate but they found them to be to delicate unless you were very careful with them. They said they would be best for racing where supreme accuracy was needed and they don't get banged around like they would if they were carried on the bike. I picked up the radio shack guage for 9.97 and it works well and is accurate to within 1/2 a pound which is fine for road duty. It is the same as the road gear guage that Jim is talking about. I think mcn said it was the same manufacture as well.

I'm using an Acme A516 tire gauge it's about 25yrs old & still works. The gauge doesn't talk or have a digital readout but it works & no batteries required.

Dale, I have the H60X flavor (straight) and it's a bit of a PITA to get in behind the rotors and on straight w/o leaking a bunch of air. It looks like H60XA has about a 45 degree head, does that give better access and connection? Thanks.

I have a 15-year old Accu-gage dial gauge that the pointer fell out. I just found out that Accu-gage has lifetime warranty and I just need to send it in with $2.50 to have it repaired and recalibrated. So I'm going to send it in to see how it is.
