Shifting gears is what I love about riding and I wouldn't go for an automatice unless I had a "medical" issue. Maybe a quick shift but never an auto. Somehow it doesn't seem like a "paddle shifter".

Or ABS, or linked brakes, active steering dampers, cruise control, air bags?

I too want to shift. But imagine if they could give us a slipper clutch in that thing.

An automatic motorcycle takes the fun out of riding. Unless you were old and just wanted to ride.

I was lookintg at buying a 2007 FJR1300 with paddle shift and no clutch lever. I was so close to buying it until I found out the best price the dealer would give me was AUD$26,990. After that I found the bird and I am living happily ever after.

Looks sort of like one of those Anime rides the bounty hunter from the space station used.

At least they still give you a manual shift option with that transmission.
