city ride

I work 10 km from home, all city, no bridges, 50 kms all the way. This Bird is too cumbersome for a short jaunt. At least for me, b/c I hate the cages. I'm searching for two wheels 50 cc. Not a second bike; a scooter. I can "tarte it up" with intake, exhaust, brakes, more or less stage one. It's perfect for Vancouver traffic. I'm in. What would you ride, under similar circumstance?

OK, cute, but not what I had in mind. I think it will be a scooter so my wife can also ride it. I have a KTM in mind and it's good for 70+ mph. which perfect for city riding. I don't want over 50cc b/c I want my wife to ride and not have to get a class 6 ML. If it happens, I'll post pics.
