I don't have the link handy but there is a guy here in florida up on ebay that is selling extensions right now for $200. They offer a 4-6" stretch.

BTW, from what I have found with the XX, you may not have to strech it at all. I drag race my 01' 3-4 times a month (10.35@135 ) and it's pretty darn stable.

Thanks for the reply's guys found a shop here in town that has sent it out it will have a 6 to 12 adjustable stretch and it is costing 495 and if I wanted a support bar it is a extra 150 going to see how it does with out it first. Then I am going to run a wet shot of nitrouis and a purge system wonder how it will run then.

I hate to say it like this but,,,, why don't you first lower the bike and set up the spray, THEN see if you need to strech it. That is unless you like the look.

I had it lowered but with the undertail it rubs if you have a passenger and being hee in Savannah Ga not alot of turns to play with so going with the lowered and strecthed look and then custom air brushing to go with the paint. I have never been one to leave things org. but will have the stock swing arm if I want to change things back or go up to the mountains and take some turns so life is good.

I haven't changed any of the internals yet just going to put a 40 shot on it nothing to big I will take your advice boostedbird and go with the dry. If I end up hurting the motor then I will change rods and pistons proberly go with a big bore kit or a turbo. I know I can get more horse power out of a busa or a 14 but everyone and there mother rides one so what fun is just bolting on parts I am sure you know what I mean there love the pic of your bird Thanks

Stretching & lowering your bike doesn't guarantee it can't be looped; First Flight

Personally, I am a huge fan of Terry McIntosh's work, I would run no other arm in drag racing considering the physics behind what you are doing by lengthening the bike -- not an area where a bad weld is a good idea..

He has my front forks right now. He does awesome work.
