My PGM-FI malfunction indicator lamp blinked a few times while riding this afternoon. I took the battery out for the winter and reistalled it just before the ride today. I have a 2005 honda cbr 6004i.
After the lighted blinked a few times the engine shut off. It would not re-start but after turned off for a bit it would start again.
Could this at all be related to the battery reinstallation or just a coinsidence? Any thoughts on what to do?

Count how many times the light flashes.The service manual will tell you what that number means,basically what part is malfunctioning.Somewhere there must be a manual on line,if not call your Honda service dept.

hope you get sorted all hondas run very similar ignition fi systems there must be somebody on here with knowledge of this, are we gonna discriminate against someone just because they dont own a blackbird ?
