Motorcycle Rental?

My good lady wife, or SWMBO, as I call her (out of earshot ) is already talking about next year's holiday. She's thinking of us flying to the US and hiring a bike (that's a bike, not a tractor BTW).

There are one or two companies over here who do such arrangements, but I'm sure there are more over the pond.

I'm sure the assembled knowledge of site members will be able to help.

I see ads on the backs of most motorcycle magazines advertising m/cycle tours-some in the U.S.. I guess it depends where you want to go in our great country (ie Colorado, Sturgis Rally, Florida, etc.) If you say what area, I can try and locate an ad and forward the details for you.

You'll mostly find Harley rentals. Sporty bikes seem to be rather hard to find as rentals. There's this place in Utah, and I remember seeing one in Arizona but I can't remember the site. Good luck!

How about a V-Rod - I know, no tractors... The only one that I know I can rent from a personal phone call is from Harley Davidson.

There is a fall muscular Dystrophy ride in Tomahawk Wisconsin, nad my aging X had a small brake issue. I called because it was what I was aware of. A few of my friends have them and like them (Harleys).

I tend to get tired of the vibration nad scraping the floor boards in corners. My wife liked it because she could look over me rather than to the side of mee to see ahead with the king queen seats.

We both piloted my budddy's V-Rod it was a fairly peppy bike with really nice road handling.

....just had a thought - I COULD call my local Honda dealer - why the heck didn't I think of that last falll! The fall ride on a used bird - ooooh! (If there is one there I'll be in trouble - I'm really getting spring feaver.)
