Tell me if we are both seeing the same message here..........

I don't know about this add being such a great endorsement for any tire brand. I saw quite a bit of tire squirm and headshake in some of those snipits. Yes, I know that those riders are on the ragged edge of traction, but the intended audience may not feel that those tires have as much stick as they need to.

Who was the target audience though... I had a set of Michelins a long time back. They were good, didn't last as many miles as the Dunlops, but a tad better performance. This is a better tire than the ones I rode too.

I have Avons on my Hurricane. I realy like the way they ignore cracks and those black strips of caulk the road crews put down. As few miles as I put on a year - they'll probably last me till retirement if they don't weathercheck....

I think the message they are trying to convey is "If the tires are good enough for racers, especially King Rossi, they are good enough for the regular rider."
