It is so good to see someone experience the bird for the first time.

I love my bird.....but after 8 years of riding her, a guy forgets how it felt way back when....

Not thread jacking here....but in the spirit of what you just said.....buddy here at work just bought a 96 Kawi Nija 1100 with 8000 original miles , and I took it for a quick rip up and down the road here at work 10 minutes ago.

Hate to say it, but WOW....that old cow pulls mighty hard for an old carb job.....and I mean mighty hard.

The Ninja was/is the kawasaki's counter part to the honda CBR 1100xx and before that was the VFR. Now it's the VFR again. Both great bikes in their own right. Apples and Oranges. Both fruit, good and good for you.
