Mines is Bernadette cause she's a big, sexy, b****.
I call mine "hottie" She's how I like all my girls, dressed in black, mysterious looking, hot to ride, and fits like a glove :-)

I call mine "Babe" Like Paul Bunion's blue OX. Big and blue that pulls like: we you all know how these monsters pull. I seem to run out of road before throttle and speed.

Re: What's the name of your Bird?

It hasn't told me its name - yet - so for now I just call it 'blackbird'. As in "go for it, blackbird" or "holy shit slow down blackbird!!!" :-)

I rode my old KZ650 for 17 years; it wanted to be called Kawaski ("Proud Product of Polish Soviet Peoples' Cooperative Tractor And Motorcycle Works!").

My FJ1200 was generally called "lemon" - or "you $%@*%" when it left me stranded in another state. Other FJ owners didn't have as much trouble with their bikes as I did with mine so I guess it was a Monday Morning bike, built by hungover workers.

Re: What's the name of your Bird?

Mine seems to have picked up its name during a long ride yesterday, my buddies started referring to it as the "velvet sledgehammer"

I wish I could claim it, it's pretty cool, but one of the 600RR guys and I traded for a little bit, and his comment was something like "I have to row through the gears and scream up that hill on my bike, but not that thing you've got, it's like a velvet sledgehammer, you just roll on more throttle and away you go without even working at it. No wonder I can't get away from you!"
