Im not sure if I want to take probation though.

At the time I was in the Marines and so was the trooper and his son so that had some bearing on his being cool.
But he wasnt all cool. When he got out of the car and approached me I was still on the bike, but it was off. I was sitting there thinking how ****ed I was and the first thing he did before either of us said anything was smack me across the back with his night stick and call me a maniac. It was a sorta soft blow though plus I had a riding jacket with padding on the back so it didnt hurt too bad. I think he felt kinda bad about hitting me.

The night I lost the mighty Ninja, I got off the bike and kneeled down with my hands behind my helmeted head waiting for the cops. 5 cops got out of 3 cars. One ran over and pushed my bike on its side while the other four roughed me up a bit. one violently wrenched my arms behind my back pushing me to the ground, another ripped my helmet off without undoing it, breaking my glasses. One of the others kicked me (while the first was still wrenching my arms behind my back and I was lying on my stomach) from the front landing first across my shoulder then my face, and one fished my wallet out of my jeans. I had commited no crime besides excessive speed on a well lit highway at midnight on a wednesday and not resisted in anyway.

Ive had my share of other negative experiances with them too.
now you happy with your states claim of "everything is bigger in texas"?

Apparently there were no dash cams. The police report says I refused to get of the bike and they had to wrestle me off thats how the bike and I sustained damages. Its the word of one dangerous crazy rouge punk racer against 5 respected upholders of good and right what am I to do

They were taking no prisoners, only rides and a very hefty fine. The $1,200 mentioned before is no joke and I have heard of closer to $1,700 but that I know had reckless behind it or exhibition of speed. Now, a bird in the air, which they do run on the corridor he is talking about is another story.
In 1991, I went the fastest I have ever been on a bike right there on the 15 fwy in Temecula.
I did an indicated 177 mph on a 1991 GSXR 1100 that had a number of prototype modifications from Yoshimura and Rob Muzzy.
Damn it felt great!
Back then, there were very few people on that stretch of road at 6:00 am.

What's that going to set me back?

Hey "champ". Saw on T.V. a Hayabusa set up as a police bike somewhere in Texas Watch your six! Texas will soon be just like "Mad Max"! Is she putting new grips on for you or taking old one's off?
