Re: My worst ticket so far

I aint got a ticket in a couple of years now and I don't know when or if I will ride my Blackbird anymore.
I watched a head on collision today that involved a squid, an innocent rider, high speed and pure stupidity.
The squid died in the helicoptor on the way to the hospitol and my favorite road has just lost my heart.

Re: My worst ticket so far

you dont think this squids life is bad enough already? but what good would it do to imprison squiduard? not let him ride, sure. have him make financial repairations to the innocent riders dependants, why not? but why add misery(and expense) to an already miserable and expensive situation?

He killed a fellow rider by riding like an asshole, he deserves death himself.

who does deserve 'your air' and how is this decided?

sometimes people need killing, in order to protect other people, but this has to be a proactive thing, not revenge.

I see where you are coming from.
I was there and saw the life running out of them both, it was the worst thing I have seen since I watched a guy get his head caved in and killed with a dumbel.

Would you mind explaining how that happened, Just the facts,
Over the years I have buried a lot of my friends, Bikes and cars, One stabbed to death and and another was shot dead, A couple of them suicided.
I still ride, I still drive, Life goes on, no matter what happens on the way.
Thats the way it is, Unfortunately.
I do hope you will ride your Bird again. I do feel for you,
Brian.

Sometimes I think you are more likely to have a head on crash with another bike rider than you are a cage. There are a lot of very wide bend takers out there. Fast bikes and little experience just something else to contemplate on your favorite strech of twisty bits. Age is starting to make me more cautious, especially after seeing some on Utube.

Re: My worst ticket so far

OK, OK, I confess, as I stated in the name your Bird thread, it cost me $368 to name my Bird a couple of weeks ago. Rule #1, DON'T DRINK RED BULL FOR BREAKY!. Also, don't get sucked in by every dick head on the highway who challenges you. Rule #3, don't break rule #2 and #3. LOL SOB, came out of nowhere, passed me chasing the suv. I had slowed down and let him pass. I was in the slow lane when I came across the cop and suv a couple of miles down the road. The cop was waiting for me and made me pull over. Damn!!! He told me he had to go 157 kph to catch up to me but because I had slowed down and let the other go he would cut me some slack. He asked what happened and he sort of agreed that I was "provoked". lol He admired my Bird and suggested that most cages would challenge me and I should just let them go. I only heard his radar, KA band when he turned it on to clock me but I pulled over and he continued on chasing the other guy. I, naively thought I was safe. WRONG!. When I took off my helmet and gave him my licence he looked at me and said, same as the last cop, "Mr Wiseman, you should slow down, you're not a young man." LOL. I paid the fine by bank cheque the next day. That damn Bird is just too tempting when challenged by dick heads. Unfortunately I hate herbal tea. He was driving an all black Hemi Chalenger, unfortunately the fasted colour.

None of that death bothered me like what happened yesterday when that squid left the look out at warp 3 out of control on the wrong side of the road and killed that innocent rider.

Tell me more. "left the look out at warp 3"? Do you mean a highway look out in the hills/mountains, with a huge drop off?

The "Lookout" on Mulholland Hwy is a gathering spot at the top of "The Snake" where sometimes a 100 or more bikes can be sitting with people bullshitting and takiing pictures.
I don't have any really good pictures of the lookout when it is full, I am sorry.
This is what I do have for you to look at, the route and of course my Red Bird at the Lookout.

Even if it is the fastest color, I wouldnt mess with a Challanger. You have bigger, more expensive fish to fry and humiliate.

I agree (except for the colour part). There is no challenge (pardon the pun) in bashing one of those. I have recently been stalking one of our customers who likes to terrorize the poor roadgoing cottagers with his V12 Vantage. I figure that one's at least capable of topping the 'bird.

I have heard some good news, the innocent rider has lived.
Now if we can get some prison time for the squid after he gets out of the hospitol.

Which Vantage is that? I loooove the double super charged V8 Vantage from the early 90s. The only V12 Vantage I know of is the one that recently debuted at the auto shows, but I didnt think they were out yet.
Anyway, race him. I want to hear how you do. No car can match a superbike in a 1/4mile, and very few can hang from a roll. I beat a Gallardo once for example, but then my bike is black...

Ooops. Sorry. It's a V12 Vanquish, but he was talking about buying the Vantage when I was there last because his friend's Maserati was almost keeping up with him. B@st@rd. He has more money than 50 people can spend in two lifetimes.

I mentioned my bike to him and he said he's beaten lots of bikes. I said he hasn't beaten mine. We'll see.

the Vanquish is cool too, but the old Virage Vantage is one of my all time faves. You should beat him, dont let us down!
