DeathWish, you have a beautiful rear end! Your Bird that is. Tell me about the lights above the l-plate. All added safety features are a bonus, especially if the cages can see us from behind. I guess it calls for splicing. Looks very good.

the white lights are LED flex strips i bought online.. i did/didn't splice into the wires, i used a snap on strip and then snap on a splicer clamp and plug in the male end for easy removal plus if i decide i want to replace it with something else i can just plug it in the same clamp with no other splicing needed... but the white LED strip cost about 20 bucks and the dual intensity (normal and stop light) LED strip was around 35 dollars and the GIVI stop light was an extra that i bought with the GIVI case... but all in all im happy with it

oh and i had to glue on the white LED strip to the underside of the tail light, i just used some automotive contact cement and its rock solid and bright as heck... i dunno if it was a good or bad move to illuminate my license plate LOL

I made a social group for inserting your photo's then having them commented on, click on community, then social groups then join "bling'ed birds"... the only hitch is you have to have the pictures inserted in your personal album in your profile, to add photo's to the group 1. you have to be a member. 2. click on the link in the center bottom that says "add picture to group" and then check mark which picture you want to insert, then click on the pull down menu on the bottom and pick which group you want to insert those pics on...... hopefully this will work out better then this thread, plus you get direct comments on YOUR picture rather then sifting through the whole thread to see if anyone quoted you..... if you have any questions don't hesitate to PM me, i would really like this community take off w/o a hitch.. thanx mike

I painted the cans black using exhaust paint and think it looks better than the polished aluminium.

| Re: Post pics of your bling'ed bird here: I used PJ1 Fast Black Exhaust System Paint in flat black and it is good for up to 1500 deg F (816 deg C) Washed and degreased the cans first, then rubbed over with wire wool and then washed them again. I applied about eight thin coats and also did the straps. |
