Hi all,
I have a Navman ICN 510 that I like to mount to my XX. This one is the shape of a handheld PDA. Could anyone post some pics of your installation? Also, what's the best mount for it?
Thanks!

I got my cradle from here , the short extension is then fitted to a bracket I made and fitted to a length of stainless 10mm threaded rod which is fitted through the headstock tube and secured with locknuts.

I have a Ram Mount on my clip-on see picture.
Thank you all, I appreciate your inputs.
Aiki, I can't tell how yours was mounted?
Redmick, how does it fit into the head tube as there is no thread inside?
Conqsoft, thanks. I'll probably will get a longer bolt myself. I have Heli bars.
I wonder if it's safe to drill and tap holes on the triple clamp
and mount some kind of bracket?
It's not threaded through the tube, it's just easier to use all thread, rather than manufacturing a long bolt with seperate threaded ends, if you see what I mean. Using a nyloc nut at the bottom with a washer, then a stainless domed nut on the top, holding the bracket seems to do the job.
ConqSoft,
So I will need a base with a ball (RAM11M), an arm, then the GPS holder (http://www.cyclegadgets.com/Products...?prod=RAM-PD2),
correct?
How does the arm mount onto the ball on the base?
Thanks again.
I have this one on my Clip-on.

This is my setup on my Blackbird I made myself..About an hours work with a hacksaw and a file a pop rivit gun, price around 10 dollars.
Now if this photo thng works the first pic is of the setup on the bike...
The second pic is of the setup withoput the gear
The third pic is again of the setup but off the bike
The fourth another one and the fifth is a pic of the whole deal.
Now the whole deal is a real breeze to put together...
1/ Step one get a piece of
alluminium a couple of inches wide and cut to shape allowing for a curved section hacked out to allow for placement of keys..
2/ Step two is to drill a hole in the biddle of the plate and bolt in a piece of running thread or whatever you call it in the states and run it down the headstem so you can then measure twice and cut it to size
3/ Step three is to drill/file/hack/ out a hole in the appropriate place so as to insert the bracket that holds the navman (The bracket with the suction cup section removed), you place the stem with the thread part of the bracket through the hole and screw on the large circular plastic nut top hold it their.
4/ Step four is to glue some velcro on the bottom right and left ens of the bracket you made and the oppisit male or female velcro on the fork tub ends as in Pic five and thier you have it, end of story and if I can do it welll enough saidoh yeh the velcro stops the whole deal moving around best of luck eh and the round things just a magnet that holds my phone now how geeky is that
Grab your ankles world I'm coming through
This a better picture![]()
