Anyone know if the stock brake/clutch lines will work with Helibars, or will I need to get longer ones?

Thanks

No, the stock lines will work. Many/most seem to trim off one of the banjo fitting locators (the two prongs that are cast into the master cylinders at the line fitting area) to enable the lines to be repositioned to better advantage. My 98 came with Heli's installed...the locators were already removed.

Ditto. The cables and lines fit just fine on the Heli bars.

Thanks, I found that they fit no prob, and I didn't need to relocate the master cylinder. Has anyone actually installed a set of Helis before? The biggest pain for me was getting the vibration dampers out of the stock bars and into the Helis--what a hassle...

I was lucky and got my Helis off Ebay that had the weight/clips already installed.

I got VFR bars off EBay also and I too had a hard time getting the weights from the stock bars into the new ones...real pain in the tail.
