It is clear to see that the only thing that would get that bike any kind of forward motion is the Black that is in it. It has a lot of red and silver to offset thats for sure.

If you look at it this way, the earliest blackbirds are nearly 13 years old ,and for that matter project 1200 is 11 year old . On that bases 2007 bird should still be going strong for at least 10 years if not longer. So let Honda build there V4 . I personaly if the gods allow it still be riding my blackbird untill I'm old and greyer and if I ever see one of these V4 on the road you can bet your last I will give it a run for it's money.

yeh i got tired of waiting(word is down under that what ever Honda's got brewing,it won't be available till 2010/11), so i've ordered a Yamaha V Max 1700cc, i'm so sorry guy's,but i like the look of the new one(the old ones never did much for me) & its got shit loads of grunt & there only bringing out 150 of them to Australia & new zealand, so in a way i feel special,BUT my bird will always be my first choice ride, even over my SP2,there's just something about it that makes me feel like a super hero, its awesome.

I've been a Honda fan for many, many years and even worked for them back in the 80's. But I starting to think (especially after they announced the release of the "Fury") this... H - Ho Hum, Has Been O - Old Technology N - Nothing new or exciting that the enthusiast base wants D - Disconnected A - Away building "Green" Automobiles Not intended to offend anyone, but this is getting ridiculous...

I doubt there will be a new model CBR Blackbird, realistically, if you want lighter weight, adjustable suspension, etc: but a Blade, if you want bigger CC, buy a ST, I personally am excited about the possibility of a new big bore V4, I still have great memories of my old VF1000R V4, for a bike produced in 83,84, it certainly had a hell of a lot of stick (just didn't like corners), it would be awsome for all new technology to be incorporated into a big V4.....and they sound great too. http://www.xtreemedecals.com/pics/VF1000Rb-86.jpg
