Man, one of each please.
That would make me happy in my pants!!!!
Seriously, either one of those, would make me SERIOUSLY consider tradin in the Bird.
Wow.
BUT, if memory serves, this magazine is pretty notorious for showing bikes that, while the pictures sell magazines, the bike(s) will probably never exist (an RC211 with lights comes to mind, along with a CBR1200XX, etc.).

I agree. To me it's not a Bird unless it's a CBR?????XX, not a VFR. Thats a new 800.

MCN and Honda are just messing with us. Doubt that we will ever see a new Bird. Just my .02 cents.

I'm with Magley64 and PH005. Looks like a bigger VFR to me. Nice looking and I'm glad that they made it bigger. Might be a bike to consider but I'd like to see a bit more then 1000cc's myself.

What a beautiful looking ride ....................... I love it
But it doesn't carry a CBR designation

It's not an inline four.
It's not a V-4 either.
Let's call it a CVR? A VBR maybe?
How bout a VCFBR 1000XX?
As a consumer, I think that the 1000 V-5 GT Bike would be a pretty damn cool replacement for the XX.
Again, I ain't holdin my breath.

I agree with the guys partial to the CBR moniker. I also like the "super" part of the name.
Lineage plays a big part in keeping a loyal following bought in to a concept.
The only way I would update is if they paid some homage to the past. Kawi has done this with their ZX 14. Look at it and a '94 ZZ R and you can see that they are brothers.

We had a thread up on that. I wasn't sure if anyone really knew for sure but we had some good guesses.

I like it......not sure if it's really the replacement of our Birds tho. We will see in due time.
