I don't know if anybody has seen or already posted this but I'm watching the movie "biker boys" and lo and behold a bronze or dark gold colored XX graced the screen more than a few times. It's nice to see Hollywood recognizing a quality bike to use for a biker movie. Just thought I'd share. Cheers.

Filmed here in South Florida, some of it anyway.
The Bird was auctioned off after the movie

I too watched the movie a long time ago and never realized what bikes were in there. Can't miss the 'busa's. I probably wouldn't have noticed the 'bird unless I owned one. It's funny that you notice similar bikes, cars or trucks when you own one. I still think it's cool. Cheers.

Haven't seen that movie but about 12 months ago there was a TV advert for deodorant where a rather nice-looking chick rocks up on a black one. (You're lucky I noticed the colour of the bike ).

There was also a British TV series called Spooks. One of the episodes saw a 'bird rider taking out a foreign agent in a car with a pistol. That clip subsequently ended up in opening credits for every episode.

I've seen the movie a long time ago. I don't remember the bird and I can't say that I remember the movie all that well. I guess it didn't make an impression on me. I did notice that it was on TV today as well so I tuned it in for about 5 minutes. That was about all I could take as it recofirmed my initial thoughts from when I saw it years ago. Maybe I'm not remembering this movie that well. Is it any good? Didn't see the bird in the scenes I saw today but they were mostly inside shots.

Funny, I caught the movie as well..... The BB jumped out at me. It was like seeing the woman of your dreams across a crowded room.... the eyes just gravitate right to her.... the magnificent curves of her body call out to you....

Anyways......

The looks of the bird is one of the things that drew most of us in its direction. After hearing that description for fedeXX I'm thinking that I need to see that movie again.

I don't recall seeing the Bird in the movie either. I do remember these guys rolling in excess of 140 on their speedo's with no lids on and no watering of the eyes and their hair was perfect..... wow.....

They really didn't do the bird justice in that movie. They had the guy on the bird racing the star of the movie, who was on a stock length GSXR 1000 if I remember correctly. The GSXR guy let him leave while he checked his nails or something, then took off, pulled up next to him, then popped a wheelie, all supposedly while this bird was WOT.

I just happened to catch her beauty in a scene when a bunch of bikes were rolling into a cemetary. Then again when Kid Rock was going to race the XX for bragging rights. Yeah right!! The rider of the XX was wearing a red bandana around his neck if memory serves. Cheers.

yeah sometimes I start crying even with my helmet on at some speeds and especially when there is a chill in the air.
And the GSX-R beating a Blackbird with such a headstart, Geeze you gotta love the illusions that they put into hollywood.
