| Fluid amounts (brake/clutch & coolant)?
I need a sanity check: picked up the bike from the local Honda Shop after requesting coolant, brake & clutch fluid changes. I know, I should have done them myself but that is a whole other story. Anyway, the invoice stated that 200ml of Dot 4 fluid was used and 3 quarts of coolant. That amount of Dot 4 does not seem enough for brake & clutch fluid changes, does it? And according to my shop manual, the coolant change requires 3.2 liters for the radiator & engine and 1.1 liters for the reservoir - 3 quarts is surely less tha 4.3 liters, if that is correct, right? Thanks in advance...Bob Z. | |

I put coolant in the radiator after a drain and it took less than a gallon. I bought 2 gallons to be sure I'd have enough so when 1 did it I was surprised.

Down load the service manual. FW it's W, I use 5.1 Motorex hydrolic fluids and Motul coolant.
