| I visited my local dealer here in Germany last week with the intention of ordering a new XX (my third) only to be told that they are a discontinued model !!! Shock horror. Can anyone confirm this? Any news on a replacement model ? |

Discontinued in 2007. Currently replacement is a rumor and nothing more.
Also, create an introduction thread so that members know who you are.

Thanks for the informative reply regarding the current XX.
Is the rest an educated guess or do you know something?
I am prepared to wait if I know a replacement is coming, otherwise I may buy a showroom end of line XX or even wander over to an FJR |

I rode the FJR1300 when looking for a new bike and forgot it just as quickly when I rode the 'Bird. FJR is smooth and comfy but no where near as much punch !

My dealer tells me 2009 and it will well and truly rival the Huyabusa. Time will tell.
