Slower colours have all these excuses to justify why their bikes are just not there in the fast lane, My heart pumps piss for all you slow pokes,
It must really hurt when the police in their slow cars pull you over and give you a ticket for going so slow, and obstructing the traffic flow.
Is it true that you can only buy red and black XX in the states, if so, you certainly have missed the boat,

Quick Silver.
Boy this is too good. In basketball terms this is what you would call a layup. Too funny.
Let me explain. I'm not making this up either. Quick Silver. In the US there is a clothing line called quick silver. You don't see it around too much anymore. There is a reason for that. The clothing line became very popular with the gay community. Developed a niche market but not a real broad market if you know what I mean. No pun intended. Quick silver is yet another sign of silveritis. So you see. The good doctors were right all along. Its all part of the disease. Proof positive that you are suffering from the disease. Quick Silver. Thanks for bringing yet another symptom to the forefront for all of us to see.

HMMMM why does the "BLACK PLAGUE" come to mind now?

Black Hole...... I think this is where your gerbils are going.

Black Eye..... This is what happens when a SILVER rider gets close to you.

SILVER is the fastest, bestest, quickest, screamingest ride out there.

Re: How come bike color affect its top speed ?

Any dictionary world wide will explain quick silver. that is if you can read.
When I was a child. I was always happy and gay.
Gay = means, carefree and merry.
Along came the homo's and stole a very good word from the english language. So I no longer could use the term. and I am not homophobic.
each to their own. Every one is equal as far as I am concerned, exception being the owners of inferior coloured XX's, EG; red and black.
Strekie. you are still trying to find excuses for that slow pile of crud.
You have been playing basketball instead of painting your bike silver.
Strek, you cannot speak of something you know nothing about.
Please, please, borrow a silver bird from someone and take it for a ride, after your eyeballs come back into your head from behind you, then you might be able to talk coherently on a subject (speed. not the drug kind) which you obviously cannot at this point of time.
Chuck Lois on the back at the same time, might cure him also. But I dont think so. I dont think either of you could handle the extra pizzaz the silver XX,s pump out,
Just how many slow tickets have you had, their obviously playing on your mind, And the other red ones, Armystrong and Redbird have gone into hibernation for the winter. Cant handle a bit of cold, TSK TSK TSK. Or they have run out of excuses as well.
Heisti has snow on his bike a foot thick and he rides his silver XX all year round, Just goes to show how, hot, we silver riders are. not even snow, slows us down,
If you dont believe me, listen to Logoman, Silverbird and Shewie.
Passyourarzeup is between bikes, he is going from a tricycle to a bicycle.
He hasn'nt figured out that this is a motorcycle site yet, but there is hope for him too,

Silverbrd...they are just trying to be kind to you guys.....really.

So stop your crying and get down on your little knees, so you can worship the true kings of speed and coolness......

Thanks right the Red Brigade.....

A lonely middle-aged man walking around an empty house in his underpants beating a toy drum and singing falsetto. That's a Red "Brigade" these days.

I guess the other red XX riders got tired of sitting around together and watching their bikes fade to Mary Kay pink.

Hate to burst your bubble, but according to your avatar, your bird is not silver, it is IRON NAIL GREY.

I agree with Nutter on this one. Either Iron Nail Grey or Titanium. Take your pick. It seems that he may be infected with silveritis since he is so delusional that he doesn't even know the color of his own bike. Deadman... Paint it Black my friend and you will come out of you daze. Currently you are rooting for the wrong team. Pun intended.

You forgot to mention him stomping Godzilla-like through his massive toy-train set-up shrieking "red is fastest, my MOM told me so!!!" at the top of his lungs.

Over here, Titanium was used on the early models (eg. 98 carbed) Para045 will tell you all about it.

Re: How come bike color affect its top speed ?

Iron grey, Titanium, Silver, Unless your a painter or artiste, and a precise definition is required, Too me, its bloody Silver, Pun intended, As I am not a painter or artiste, I build things, I dont paint, But I do ride twelve months of the year when I can, work permitting,
I feel really sorry for the red and black brigade sitting on their backsides in sub zero temps as their XX's grow cobwebs, and all they can do is pick poo about us silver, titanium and iron grey XX's who are still riding.
When the red and black brigade are riding, they are still covered in cobwebs, as they cant go fast enough to blow the cobwebs off, pun intended also.

Re: How come bike color affect its top speed ?

now you got me!
i have to take a pic of my slowest jacket.
it´s yellow and reflective. and i am shure that it´s the fault of the colour and not a case of aerodynamics!

whenever i wear this jacket i am as slow as a red or black or blue XX.

pic will follow

Deadman... You don't need to be an artist to know the color of your bike. If you want to call it silver go right ahead. It's silverish. I guess its close enough. Although in this thread we don't hear a lot from the titanium riders. Wonder if there is a reason for that? Maybe its because they are as speed challenged as the silver color. As far as not being able to ride year round...well I did have my bike out for a short trip around the galaxy last weekend. Yepper still as fast as ever and I did pass up a silver one as I was dropping out of warp. Maybe it was titanium. I couldn't tell since I was going so fast. I'm not a real big fan of snow and cold but it seems to happen where I live. Good thing you don't like snowmobiling, skiing, ice hockey etc. I'm pulling for Global warming myself. One of these days I hope to move to a climate like you have where it is warm year round. Right now the kids are keeping me here. Do you guys down under have room for one more?
