Get off Chuck Norris' jock strap wigo.... let the poor man retire in peace with grasshopper and chase butterflies in the wheat fields of harmony.
SILVER is the fastest by far and always will be

Well I've been to both CA and Texas. Both have better roads then what I have around here in Ill. Texas has a TEXAS RANGER by the name of Chuck who rides BLACK.
We're not supposed to talk politics here but I think Nancy Pelosi hails from California. Mr. Obama hails from Ill. He wouldn't even be a senator right now if it wasn't for Seven of Nine from Star Trek.
Croc's??? Those things are nothing compared to a Grizzly Bear. Just ask Lois. I mean give me a break with the crocs. They are slow low to the ground and once you get there mouth shut no problem. Actually crocs could be compared to non BLACK blackbirds. You have to have something out there in the land of OZ that is a bit higher on the scarry factor then a croc. We have mountain lions in the city of Chicago. What would you rather wrestle? A croc or a mountain lion? I think I saw Chuck out on his BLACKbird last night. I'm not sure though. He was going so fast all I saw was a blur.

All of those places in California that you mentioned are fantasic places to ride but, L.A. has some great roads only a few miles away from my house.
Today I rode on GMR in Glendora. That is one of the nicest roads to ride in Los Angeles County.
The roads I ride are not in the city of Los Angeles but, all on the outskirts of the county of Los Angeles which is a pretty big county with the San Gabriel and Santa Monica Mountains. You gotta know by now, I like to flap my gums but, I mean no harm or insult to anyone anywhere even if you do ride a CBR1100XX of a color we cannot speak. Red is the prettiest and fastest of all CBR1100XX Super Blackbirds.
Ride on, ride hard and die free. | No worries. Silver bird and I are 2 hours apart, and don't always agree on things!
LA County DOES have some good roads in it, no doubt!
If I ever get my raggedy old Titanium Metallic XX over there, I'll have to see for myself. I'll get you to point the way!
BTW, I've had a Black one, and they weren't as fast as my Titanium one!
Color choices, you know, in order of speed and attractability:
Titanium
Red
Black
Silver
Have seen Blue in places like South Africa
Yellow (Not sure where)

The one that I have seen here is a black 98 carbed job and too slow to keep up with me. It may be that he never had the juevoes to ride that Bird like it was meant to be ridden or it could be that it is just a black Blackbird and simply not fast enough to keep up with me and my Red Bird.
What ever the case may be, me and my Red Bird are ready to go and show some of the coolest roads I have ridden on anywhere. |

I saw a black 99 at Hollywood Honda today that had a Yosh system on it. The owner did not care very much for how she looks cosmetically, it was dirty and neglected as far as I am concerned. It was definately slower than my bike, I could see that with first glance.
It was at the dealer man, who in their right mind would take their bike to the dealer for service? Certainly not me, not enough care is taken and way too much money is charged.

You can't judge a book by its cover fasterspider. It was black afterall. The true color of the BLACKBIRD. It also sounds like it was parked if you were able to see it with you red bike.

You cannot judge a book by its cover that is correct, a lot of people have lost a lot of money because they chose to do just that.
Since we are talking about color, let me share a bit of symbolism with you...
In Japanese culture, kuro (black) is a symbol of nobility, age, and experience, as opposed to shiro (white), which symbolizes serfdom, youth, and naiveté.
Since our bikes are made by the Japanese, they would not only have made the fastest bird with their most respected color, they would have made other birds slower in order to respect the most noble.
Red on the other hand, has been shown to have a physical effect, increasing the rate of respiration and raising blood pressure, thus making the person feel faster and stronger. This is a way to deal with the arrogance that someone has who loves a red bike in general, so again the japanese knowing that a person will "feel" faster on a red bike intentionally made it slower.
Grey has a few interesting points to its nature. One is boredom and another is decay so the Japanese knowing this definitely left a few HP out of this bike because they did not want people to feel as though the bike was going to fall apart at top speed.
Titanium had some great potential because of its metalic symbolism. Since titanium is recognized for its high strength-to-weight ratio the japanese actually put a few more HP into the bike in the beginning but because of it grey color they decided to remove the HP and just make it have slightly more HP than the grey bird.
I decided to leave all the other colors of the bird off because once the Japanese settled with the HP for the titanium bike all other colors were produced with the same HP since it was a nice mix of HP and color and accepted widely.
Going back to the fastest color... Black. Black represents darkness and the unknown which is why the Japanese could add more HP than any other bird because overall it was expected by the human psychi.
So there you have it. Black is the fastest.
Another note about Chuck Norris is that since he knows martial arts very well he understands Japanese thinking and knowing that Black was the most honorable color for a Japanese warrior, he would accept nothing less.

Wigo is absolutely correct. Thats why Honda made the IWTBBLIUTBSICBFA chip. Honda actually starts by making all of the bikes BLACK. Then it paints them the slower colors for those of you who aren't ready for the full force of the BLACKBIRD. They thought ahead and included the IWTBBLIUTBSICBFA chip for those that do eventually grow a pair and decide that they want to be on the fastest BLACKBIRD and then decide to paint their bikes BLACK. Basically all of the red silver blue white orange pink whatever color bikes that then paint them BLACK again. The presence of the chip means that you don't have to bring the bike back into the shop after you paint it BLACK again.
As you will recall he full name of the chip is I Want To Be Black Like I Used To Be So I Can Be Fastest Again. |

You are all intensionally bumping your heads against the wall for some insane reason I cannot fathom. Honda is red because red is the fastest.
Therefore when they wanted a fastest blackbird and had already made them of colors we do not speak for testing purposes, they knew they had to make red Bird.
It was not to satisfy anyone else but Mr Shoichiro Honda's dream to build the largest and fastest sport bike Honda would put out to date.
When the Blackbird 2.0 comes out, it will be red and you owners of color we do not speak Birds will all bow down to the masterful colored red CBRXX Blackbird 2.0.
Back to the Bird that I saw at the dealer which had 2" thick chicken strips and a 2" wide flat spot all the way around the tires from only seeing local street & freeway use, judging that book by the cover was the only thing I could do.
It was a sad specimen that brought a tear to my eye because someone would actually bring their tore up Blackbird to the dealer/stealer for service. The condition the bike was in was down right depressing and if for sale could have asked no more than $2000.00 at most.
The CBR1100XX Super Blackbird of any year or color in this country or any country from around the world is a bike that should be superiorly taken care of and properly maintained inside and out. My red CBR1100XX Super Blackbird is clean and very healthy because before she was my bike, she was well maintained and since she has become my bike she has gotten even more love and care to make her the pretttiest and best performing CBR1100XX in California and maybe the world.
My Bird is a Honda and therefore it is properly colored with the color Mr Honda chose for his race teams, red.
You all with Birds of colors we do not speak are deluded and need to wake up and see that under your wrongfully colored exterior paint, your Birds are red.

The reason Honda made red blackbirds is they knew a certain number of buyers were only after parking lot queens. Voila. It worked. Even I can't take my eyes off them - in the lot or in my rear view mirrors.

The colour of anything is irrelevant, when you are going fast enough all colour changes to a silver blur, simply because the eye cannot distinguish
colour at speed, The worlds fastest train is silver, 574.8 klms or 357.2 mph
I feel very sorry for you uneducated people that dont have a silver fast bike,
and it gets up my nose that I have to pull up and wait for you mediocre and dull coloured Mopeds every twenty miles or so to allow you to catch up, By the time you catch up, I am usually half pissed ( drunk) waiting for you.

Ah now I see deadman....
You are too drunk to notice that if you are riding with a black bird he is in front of you and so far in front of you that in your state of mind you think they are behind you... so being the nice guys that black bird riders are... we circle back and let you think you left us in the dirt...
That is OK we black bird riders understand and have to put up with a lot from you other color riders. Including red snoots.

The IWTBBLIUTBSICBFA chip was an excellent product, untill Honda found that painting their bikes SILVER made the chip redundant, and obsolete,
I really dont mind waiting for you, Your all a top crowd, even if you are all so sloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow, eat your heart out, slow pokes,

Deadman... I see you fell for the Honda advertising and marketing campaign. Don't worry there are a lot of others who also bought silver off of that same marketing campaign. I'm sure you remember it. The one where they advertised that the SILVER made the chip redundant and obsolete. That was the idea of Mr. Honda's grandchild who was promoted to head of marketing around that time. He has a rather long name. Mr. IlsayanythingtosellthoseslowernonBLACKbirds Honda. After a short period of time when it became apparent that the non Black bikes were indeed slower a class action law suit was filed. Honda lost the court case. A condition of the settlement was that Honda had to pubically admit that they had misled the public. They also had to offer a
recall notice. The fix for the recall was to have the owners bring the bikes in
and then Honda would paint them BLACK again. Since the chip really did work that was all that was needed. If I were you I would contact my local Honda dealer and take it in for the recall. |

But it only applied to pre 2000 blackbirds, the obsolete ones, the slow ones and the ones painted That dead colour like BLACK, tsk tsk tsk. YOU WILL HAVE TO COME UP WITH A BETTER LOAD OF CRAP THAN THAT,

Then on the Third day, the Silver Blackbird Riders got drunk and rode over and punched the crap out of the Black Blackbird Riders. The Blue Blackbird riders thought ( and that was strange in itself ) that they would go over and help the Black and Blue Blackbird Riders but confused them with the Silver and Blackened Blackbird Riders and procedded to punch the crap out of themselves. After much punching , scratching , pokeing , and farting they all laid down under a big shady tree and looked into each others eyes. Sick.
Meanwhile the Red Brigade went about what they do Best. Burning up tarmak and scaring other bike users off the roads.
So ends the sermon. Amen.
