How come bike color affect its top speed ?

We have a race track that the MotoGP sees as a great track and I have a red CBR1100XX Super Blackbird that will beat any of your CBR1100XX birds of colors we do not speak as long as they are not super charged, turbo charged or NOS charged.

I never really paid that much attention to motorcycle colors - I grew up with crazy yellow, lime green and red motocross bikes and never even considered that there would be an orange bike.

I do dig having an all black bike - even considering dark muffler cans because one side is a little marked up.

While I was on CTO I saw a guy in Dubai on a late model all black goldwing - just didn't look right. GWs have some crazy color options - not all of them are good.

But for now my all black bike will do - at least it not an ugly bike like that new "naked" Busa. Jeez that thing is hideous - what the hell was Suzuki thinking? They had some decent looking bikes with the early GS series... And the "King-B" is even black...

King B - even the name is stupid

And I really like giant motor, standard riding position bikes. But Jeez

mmmm, bacon...

I hide from no one, except the law, but thats a different story. But since I have faster numbers put up then you that would mean that I am the king and you need to come to me to take my crown. Ill be waiting.

Correction, the owners which ride the bikes which are the colors of which we do not speak are so slow, that they do not need to wear helmets.

Was it Nutter or Silverman that pointed out the fact that this thread had gotten off topic. Personaly , I feel that since they live so far south, their opion should not matter because they can ride their bikes year round......where most of us can't.

I know, it's a fairly thin shakey ,shaven leg to stand on, but it's the best that I can come up with at short notice. ( so work with me here people)

However....

I will however admit that we have gone down many many different roads with this subject. Really not that surprising, considering how many different individuals this board has on it. Some are fairly fun and easy going, while others tend to lean a little more towards the serious side.
Not that there is anything wrong with that in the slightest, as it is this diversity that makes a place like this forum a truely great meeting place....for all.

So, why has this thread gone as far as it has? I'll tell you why. Because we are motorcyclists.
If any of you out there think that you don't have to be just a " little " flashy, and/or outside the social box, to own one of these contraptions, then I'll be dipped in dog poop.
Ok...ok, there may be 000.00005 % of us on this forum that ride a bike because they have to....the rest of us ride because we want to.

I'm gonna be honest for a minute here. I feel " cool " when I ride my bike.....I like the looks that I get from the young girls.....I also like the looks of envy that I get from the young men when I pass by, am I full of myself....? nope, I'm just a motorcyclist.

One must be braver than the others to do what we do... I little more outgoing, or perhaps a shut in with to many side arms and cookie sheets..
My point being this. This thread is purely for shits and giggles...nothing more. It is not ment to be serious, or harmful to anyone whom is involved. It has gotten outlandish because of the playful comrodery (sp) and subtle competitiveness that exists among us all.
If someone among us is in some way being offended by this threat, then block it out in your personal settings, and let it go. If someone is worried that a stranger may read this thread and not want to be in this forum....then I say to this stuck up stranger " see ya , because right now I am having some fun with my friends and don't need to be judged by someone whom has not followed this post from #1 to the present". That's right, friends, and that is what I consider any of you that take the time to share in this crazy, yet informative place that conqsoft has created for us all to come together in.

yea my black XX with a chrome tank makes it faster, because the chrome reflects the sunlight, therefore keeping the fuel molecules cooler and smaller. which in turn actually allows more fuel into the bike which makes more power, this only works with a K&N filter of course.
