When the opportunity presents itself, I will have my Bird doing an insane speed and my GPS will track it, I just have to wait until we have a safe road to do those kinds of speeds. {And no cops to be seen or heard} | I think you topped out at 140 monkey spider. Put the training wheels back on and take that slow dark pink Bird home.
I have hit 175 several times (speedohealer correct) and do not need much road to do it.
Silver rules ass munches!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry boys...took a little vay-cay on the beach, but I'm back!! Back to find all kinds of non-sense spewed over these hallowed pages. Spider--check your manual; 140 on a Redbird is actually 190! Due to some kinda agreement they came up with, the extra 50 mph can't legally exist. And no, somehow, it cannot be traced, radar will clock you at 50 mph less than what you're actually doing. Somethin to do w/alien technology they got from area 52. (area 52 is 7 degrees nw latitude of the honda plant in Japan fyi) So rejoice my friend. It may never be proven, but RED is the fastest. I'm probably in danger, now that I've put that piece of classified information out, but the world's gotta know!

There you go, 2007 Iron Nail Grey is faster than your red bird.
Cant be anymore definitive than that. | Yeah. Sure. If your color operates in the normal time continual. Jeez Louise. Do some research guy. RED operates outside of those simple parameters. If you want confirmation, call 1-800-dial-a-geek. (international rates apply)

Russ, do you remember exactly how hard you hit your head when you went down? (lucky you were on a super slow red bird, otherwise you might have done some real damage) Or is your bumrash affecting your normal intelligence?

What colour are icbms and space shuttles and jets and stuff - silver or grey mostly with some black. Are these the fastest man made things on this planet?
Mercury is the fastest of the nine planets, do you think mercury is roughly the colour of silver.
Super computers are mostly painted silver! Some are beige, but they don't count because there are no blackbirds painted that colour so it is not a colour of speed (it is probably a colour of economy).
I still love my blue bird, but I am trying to search out new facts for this question - facts that make some kind of sense.
I drove a few laps around Melbourne's calder race track in a V8 supercar and it was not as exciting as riding my beautiful blue bird - I had to do the cage racing thing because it was a birthday present - I hope I didn't offend anyone by mentioning it!
I think that Lou, spider and army are stretching into fantasy because reality just doesn't give them everything they want. Will they go down clutching at straws? Do you think your fellow blackbird riders are easily fooled? Come on guys, get your act into gear.
I guess the afore mentioned red bird owners make a good humourous act - a bit like Larry, Curly and Moe! (Army, Spider and Lou?) Be of good cheer, you ride great bikes and you make other great bike riders laugh ...

Red rules the road be it here in Southern California or anywhere else on the planet.
Blue is nice but, red is better and faster.
Without red flowing through your veins, you would cease to exist.
The same holds true for my Bird, I would cease to exist if my Blackbird was any other color but red. |

Hey Spidey, glad to see you're enjoying this site and this thread in particular. True, it is quite enthralling (and a good way to increase your post tally and get to know your fellow CBRXX posters).
Here's a joke for you -
What's red and goes fast?
.... HHMMmmm
Sorry, I can't think of anything.
I thought that Americans were against red - communism.
We don't often see red birds here in Australia, I think they were sent on to America where they could be sold because they were given less choices!
Roses are red, blackbirds are blue
we can all be sure, which colour to choose!

Post count has no meaning to me, it is the quality of the post that matters and this thread happens to be very entertaining.
Like I said earlier, blue is nice but, red is better.
There is also a difference between communist red and the red of a Blackbird, Bird red is just a prettier color.
I am no commie but, I do ride red and even though your Bird is blue, you ride red also. |
