Hmm, there are many fancy colors out there. I like dark kandy red, or a deep blue metallic (much like the OEM colors, only slightly darker).
But you do realize that the XX will become a bit slower, right? It'll lose 10-15bhp on the crank..! Black is, after all, the FASTEST color..!

That's right Frank! Black is the fastest. The other colors are ok if you want to attract unwanted attention. I find it hard to believe that any BB rider doesn't regularly exceed the speed limits, so why would you want to stick out like a sore....... thumb with those bright colors? I personally don't believe that speed limits apply to me whilst riding because my bike is black.
And y'know... Honda only made the other colors because they were also targeting female buyers! Heh-heh!

Man, that was hilarious!
Anyway, bikewarrior, if you wan't to attract unwanted attention, go ahead and paint her neon yellow. I prefer the fast and stealthy color. Each to his own I heard that red, blue, titantium and silver will reduce top speed by about 10%.. Better think this over!
PS. I've seen a flat black (no glossy clear coat) painted XX. Very sweet looking, and it did not affect the performance either (dynoed before and after the paintjob)..

Yeah, I got a big kick outta that one.
Maybe we should start calling you Leftlaner Frank.
No offense, Hoang. Just joking around here.
Say... had any luck strapping those pontoons to your bird?
Perhaps you should consider a jet ski?

Retractable pontoons for bikes, get them now at your nearest vietnamese Honda dealer! And there's more! For the mere 250.000.000 Dong extra, you'll get our upgraded chain-to-propeller propulsion system for those rainy days! Call (0084)-FLOATING-HONDA now!
Sorry about the OT B.S. bikewarrior..

Well, I'm not an expert in quantum physics, but the fact that black is the fastest color is well proven. Why do you think the SR-71 was painted black, for instance?? I believe xxxron can explain the physics much better than I, you should send him a PM..
I'm glad you decided to keep your bike nice and shiny black!
