Can anyone let me know what the Yellow light is on the dash of a 1997 Bird . A mate has picked one up for £1000 , 32.005 mls ,new brakes and tires and except for a dent in the tank in good condition. Well hell , thats what i call service , many thanks ,
we are taking apart at the moment ,checking ,it was very cheap and theoretically only needs a service but better to be safe than sorry .

My mate argues that it means "Stud", as an 06 owner i thought it meant Slow or Snail
Not that pre injection models are slow JUST SLOWER!!!!!!!!!!!!

This light implies that all PRE 1999 riders would appear to be forgetful Lads and Lasses , if i was you I would strongly deny this and state quite strongly that you'd never attempt to ride off with the stand down , unless it's true ?

Wrong. It stands for SPEEDING , and will come on when you exceed 250kph.

I thought it was the AWW $h!t light. You know for when you are going 135mph and listening to Josh Groban. That light comes on and if you don't turn off the terrible music your bike takes control and drives you into a wall to end your misery. It does give you a minute before it takes control so you should have plenty of time to shut off the music.
