No major repairs besides stator replacement @ 32,000mi. But that was because of a neglected battery that "cooked" the stator.

No repairs except a stator at 60,000 kms. I don't consider cct's or batteries as repairs. 120,000 kms, '02 Bird

My 97 is now 11 years old but only has 14k on it and I have only had it for a month or so. That being said, just normal things for a bike of that age. So far, carb cleaning and petcock diaphram replacements.
we will see what's next...

Only panel and cover damage after an off at the track.

38K miles.
One CCT at 21K.
Many tires, oil changes, and one chain/sprocket change at 18K.
7 year old battery. Will change this year just to be safe.
On a side note, I had to buy a front tire valve yesterday for my 87 Magna. I also replaced the headlamp bulb a couple years ago. Oil, tires, and batteries on that one too.
Sucks to have to work on a Honda every 10 years. |

23K on bike now. Replaced CCT at 17k. That's it other than normal maintenance.

Stator, Regulator/Rectifier, at around 50K. Again, it should be mentioned, that BOTH of my blackbirds seem remarkably sensitive to corrosion.
Rotor warped, caused caliper damage (actually, an insert into the caliper was worn ALMOST to the point that the pad could fall out!) at that same 50K
Steering head Bearing were pretty toasted at 50K
Fork seal at about 40K (corrosion!)
Wheel bearings, swingarm bearings all seem fine. Wondering about the CCT.

147,000 miles between my first XX and my current 2002 XX.
Replaced the stator on my first XX at 62,000 miles.
That's it. Everything else has been routine maintenance, for both bikes.
