It is indeed the Peg Lowering Brackets... these are the early prototype versions, he has a production run going that is about to be shipped, I believe.

The far right photo shows them the best....

3/4" down, ~ 1/2" out.

Makes a rather huge difference, despite the apparent small change in dimensions.

Re: davesxx01 can explain this...

Those are indeed the latest production ones, Dale wanted a set that wer'nt anodized and was the FIRST to get them.
The early ones were a 1" drop but would hit some aftermarket pipes so I setteled on something that works for everyone.

Everyone else, go to the original post on .org 1st page and order up,,,,if you pre-ordered, as the first batch of 100 is spoken for.

Second batch is in the works!

Absolutely nothing. There remain exactly where there are.... they are unaffected by these lowering brackets....

Sorry, I don't understand exactly what you mean, my shifter feels better now when wearing boots. I don't have to tilt my foot down as much to get under it!

Can I get a pic of the left side installed?

I'm wondering where the sidestand goes when folded up. Mine is already right under the footpeg.

I was VERY surprised at the difference that the lowering kit made. Felt much more like riding a ST1300 than a CBR1100XX. They actually caused a change in the way that I had to sit on the Corbin seat as I found myself putting more weight on my wrists than I was accustom to.

No kidding? Never thought of that! I hope your not dissapointed with them.

I use a bead rider on my Corbin and VFR bars along with a
Givi shield and Saeing edging for my long rides.

Not in the least. My feet were just in a different position than I was used to and it required me to readjust the way that I sat on the seat.

I also use VFR bars mounted on top of Genmar risers.

Hell... if I ever put the Russell seat back on the XX, it would provide me with the same amount of leg room as a Goldwing.

Re: davesxx01 can explain this...

I was hoping someone else would chime in so I wouldn't look like an idiot. but maybe I'm missing something. My brake lever is too high as it is, and all of the adjustment is used up. Lowering the pegs would make this worse wouldn't it? I hate lifting my foot off the pegs to use the levers. Also the gear lever is moved down one notch already and is good now. How does moving the pegs down without moving the controls with them work. I like the idea of lower pegs but...????? As I said, am I missing something??

I guess I don't know what you mean by this... When JBowen put his Buell begs on (~1-1/4" lower), I adjusted his brake actuator for him, and he's still got room left, and his pegs are 1/2" lower than these... unless of course, you're into having the brake pedal low enough that it scrapes before the pegs...

Well now, hold on a minute, Dave.... if this is really an issue for you, then let's hear about it, mate. Perhaps you can have someone snap off a few close-up digi-photos of your foot resting on your pegs as they are now (both brake and shifter side), so we can see exactly what you're referring to.

I've not seen/felt a whole lot of difference with the Footpeg Lowering Brackets with regard to brake lever and shifter operation, but they are making a noticeable improvement with regard to leg/knee comfort levels.... in particular, it is making my right knee (severely damaged due to football injuries in my youth) a whole lot happier than before.

Just looking at the brackets, one wouldn't think that a mere 1/2" lowering would make such a dramatic difference, but they do. At least for me.

Re: davesxx01 can explain this...

If you have used up all of your brake pedal adjustment, then your brake pedal must be pointing down at a pretty severe angle. Can you take a picture straight from the side so we can see its orientation?

Yeah, post up Dave. I'm fixing to put mine on here in a week or two, and could use the visual, because I know I'm going to have to adjust my levers too.
